A Little Disconcerting...

I'm busy getting ready to leave tomorrow but I just had to share this little story. The Walmart in which I shop, which is about a mile from my house, had a shooting take place there today. You can read the article here. It seems to have ended well but it's a little freaky to think that a pregnant woman, who I learned from the news was in the baby section when it happened, was hit by shrapnel from a bullet. I'm sure I don't need to point out that I'm in that baby section quite a lot. I needed to go to Walmart late this afternoon to get a few things and it was still closed from this incident. I'm just glad no one was seriously hurt or anything. I ended up going to Publix instead and I joked to Duncan that I knew who the shooter was - - the manager of Publix. Publix was so packed they were out of carts!

The next time I post something I'll be in Boston. I'm nervous because it appears I don't have an empty seat next to me on the plane. There are a few scattered middle seats left so I'm praying I can switch seats somehow.
