I have hardly taken any pictures the last two days and there really hasn't been a whole lot of excitement in these parts so this post may be pretty short. This is the one picture I took which is of Duncan eating breakfast and Calleigh stealing a bite. This is their usual morning routine. Duncan has a bowl of cereal and Calleigh saunters up and stands in front of him saying words that we don't understand but figure they mean, "Give me a bite, Daddy!" All of this occurs when Calleigh is on a break between her two morning meals - - nursing and having "real" food. I read somewhere (I never remember where I read any of this stuff...but I'm sure it's always a reliable source) that you should wait about 20 minutes after nursing before giving them a meal so that the milk has time to digest. I'm sure this is perfectly useless information to most people but there you have it.
Yesterday I was supposed to go out to lunch with my friend Wanda from work who is pregnant and having a baby girl at the end of October. I haven't seen her in months so I was dying to see how she looks but alas, it wasn't to be. It was the curse of the Internet. There I was working diligently on something for my boss when the Internet goes out. It was deja vu all over again. That hadn't happened since it was fixed by Brighthouse about 5 weeks ago. So it completely through me off and when it finally came back 45 minutes later, I didn't have enough time to get what I needed done and still meet for lunch. I was sorely disappointed but we'll reschedule. Hopefully the Internet won't start going out again or I will seriously start ripping my hair out.
So funny thing is, today I did go to lunch with my Aunt Wanda. I had talked to her last night about how we are going to go over her house for Sabbath lunch and she mentioned how much Uncle Steve likes the pizzaburgers that I had made for Calleigh's birthday party. Strangely enough, we had just had them for supper and I had a bunch of leftovers so I was happy to pass them along to Aunt Wanda to give to Uncle Steve. We met up at the cafe at the hospital. I had a bean and cheese burrito (something new) and I have to say, it was one of the best things I've ever had at the cafe. It was a party in my mouth as Shawn would say. Anywho, we had a nice visit and I meant to take a picture of it to post here but there were many distractions. There is construction going on at the cafe and half of it is closed down so seating was very limited and scrunched up. After lunch, Calleigh and I went down to Payroll to see some of my friends and Calleigh showed off some of her talking skills.
The big highlight of the night is that Shannon got her new phone Trio that she bought off Ebay. She wanted it so she can look up drugs on it. At the moment, she's talking like it's a real being - - "I really like her. She has a lot of features that I've never had. Let me go plug her in upstairs." That's Shan for you.
Alright, that's it. I'm outa here. Time for a bath!

Corey, It is late and I am still up. Nothing new with me though. What a smart kid to stand by her father and beg for food!! She is a cutie. Apparentley, you did not get the parcel and I need to go to the Post office and find out what happened? Of course I did not put any insurance on it so maybe someone stole it as they needed the clothes for their own child. Nothing surprises me these days with so many out of work and needing money for food and clothes. Oh well, if that is so I will have to start looking some more and then will insure the package. That is disappointing though. The clothes were adorable. Talk again, Keep Calleigh healthy and work on her to say, "Aunt Shirley" or just Shirl, will do. byeeeeeeeeeee Aunt Shirley
