This afternoon Calleigh and I headed over to the ABC to stock up on some veggie food. It was actually really nice because no one was in the separate food room so I was able to let Calleigh run loose. Note to self on a rainy day: go hang out at the ABC! She immediately started taking food off shelves and moving the packages around the room as you can see in this video. I think it's pretty impressive that she was able to stack four packages and then was able to pick them up and carry them. It's not on video but she did make it a few yards before the tower crumbled. Not bad. One of my very first jobs was at the ABC so maybe she'll follow in my footsteps - - although I did have a cushy job behind the register and didn't have to stock shelves(or unstock them in her case!)
Last night was pizza night as is every Thursday at the Grodack residence. Shannon has become our go-to-gal for making the pizzas. Here is our latest invention: olive oil, garlic (plenty of it), mozzarella cheese, roma tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and fresh Parmesan cheese.
Calleigh has recently re-discovered her computer that her Aunt Angie gave her for Christmas. It's done wonders in the entertainment department the last two days. But not only that, she's really learning from it as well.
Today is a special day for Duncan and me as it is the 10-year anniversary of when we met. I would have NEVER guessed this is how it would all turn out but somehow it did and am I ever glad! Thank you Kristi Marko. And yes, that means I've lived in Florida for 10 years now. Who would have thunk it?
Tomorrow we are going over Aunt Wanda's for lunch as Heather is home for the week. At least, I hope she'll be home. She was flying in on a buddy pass on Jet Blue and when I talked to Aunt Wanda this morning, Heather was stuck in Washington D.C. (coming from CA).
Have a happy Sabbath!

Well, here I am the one responding again. Do you get tired of me doing this? You will know for sure that I read everything there is to read. Wouldn't it be funny if she does the same thing as you did when you were young? You were always interested in money and of course I loved knowing that. How I remember counting your tip money in the ice cream shop. You would make over $100.00 on a Sunday as I remember. Oh for those days Corey.
Of course Calleigh is adorable and so, so smart. Just like her mother and maybe her father. Ha. Keep teaching her to talk and she will be going into College by the time she is 7 years old. Love it!!!!!! Take care and will be sending out that parcel again. Hope it gets there this time. My error though. Love, Aunt Shirley
