In non-pregnancy news, we've been up to a few things here and there. On Sabbath, I finished the first month of the quarter of teaching. Because the month ended, we had to stay behind for awhile to switch everything over from David, the Shepherd Boy to Daniel and the Lions. Calleigh and Aubree just played around in the room while Duncan and I organized it all. I noticed Calleigh was pretty quiet for awhile and come to find out, she had a pee accident. I won't mention where this occurred in case some readers become paranoid about going to this location in the classroom! But needless to say, it made quite a mess and obviously completely soaked her dress. I did not have a change of clothes with me so the end result was her riding home in her car seat buck naked (by the time I had suggested Duncan give her his shirt, she was already buckled in and didn't want to put it on). Well, this set Aubree off on a chant of "I want to do naked body." She was quite upset that Calleigh got to be naked but she didn't. Obviously I did not let her do so for no other reason than my fear of being pulled over by police, for whatever reason, and having them discover us driving around with two naked toddlers in the back seat. Doesn't seem like that would end well.
After nap time, my friend Wanda came over with her two kids, Hailey (2 1/2) and Noah (10 months). We hadn't seen each others kids since Noah was a newborn so we both enjoyed seeing how they've grown. Wanda really outdid herself and brought over some gifts for the girls including new headbands and some princess stuff so that went over very well. And then what excited me most was that she brought a boatload of newborn size boy clothes so that really upped my supply of that size. Not only that but she brought him a new outfit as well. So that become the first official brand new outfit. However, I would like to clarify that my mother reminded me that she had bought him a few preemie outfits although she has yet to actually give them to me. Please note that he is still being called "he," "him," etc. Still no name. Sorry folks. But it's not up to me. Feel free to give my hubby a hard time.

Sunday morning we went to a birthday party out in Tampa, err Ocoee, for Gabriela Ottati. Really, the drive isn't that bad so I shouldn't make fun of it. They live in the same community as the Isidro's and they have an awesome community pool there in that it's inclined so there's a shallow end for "non-swimmers" such as Aubree to just sit in...which she did. I'll take whatever I can out of her. I'm happy to say that she actually did very well playing in the water fountains they also have there so I'm hoping she's turning the corner on the whole water thing. The party was very nicely decorated and I'm really starting to feel like a bump on a log when I see all the creative people that I'm surrounded by.
The girls eating their cake pops. Yes, clearly, Aubree's bathing suit is just a tad big.

This morning we went to story time as usual but first we made a stop at a lady's house who does alterations. I bought the girls pillowcase dresses to wear as the flower girl dresses for the wedding. There was no size chart or anything on the website but I figured that going with 4T and 18 months I should be safe. Well, you know what they say about people who assume. The dresses are huge! Now, pillowcase dresses aren't exactly form fitting by their very nature but there were just ridiculous. Calleigh is definitely no shrinking violet for her age (I mean she's like in the 90th percentile for height and weight and is already wearing a lot of 5T) so I don't think I was off base getting a 4T. In the end, I guess it's my fault for not emailing the website to clarify the sizes but I'm still peeved that they didn't have a size chart there or a warning that they run big. I'm going to email the lady and see how they respond. The dresses can't be returned so in the end, the only choice was for them to be altered. Thankfully the dresses weren't all that expensive so at least that makes me feel not so bad about having to get them altered.
Well, I think that's a wrap. Have a great rest of the week.
Aubree doesn't quite get the concept of "licking the envelope." Here she is licking the front of the Mother's Day card, not the actual part you're supposed to lick to seal the envelope.
Aubree says to me "Look, Mommy, I'm doing a push-up. Take a picture!" Even more amazing is that she can do it with only one leg. Looks like that, huh?

Enjoyed again the adventures of Calleigh and Aubree . . . and their mother!
We men have it so easy--I guess God knew what He was doing when He had women carrying the load in the womb.
Papa
Enjoyed the update, been out straight so haven't been on for a few weeks! Thanks.
Another thing that should have reminded you about me during the movie is you went to see my Twilight hunk! Glad to know you approved of the movie!
