The Week in Pictures

I had such high hopes of posting a new blog this weekend but alas, I've just plain run out of time as I sit here looking the clock which has just passed 11 pm.  This is what happens when you have lots of activities going on and then vacation that you have to start packing for.  So to save time and energy, I'm just going to post a few pictures to show what we've been up to.

On Tuesday, Aubree got pocked in the left eye by something.  This caused quite a
bit of discomfort for her.  I gave her a pop tart to try and cheer her up.

She was so distressed about the eye that she wanted to sleep downstairs with me for her nap.
I tried putting her on the loveseat but she cried and slid down the onto floor where she fell asleep in 3.5 seconds.

Feeling a lot better by suppertime.  The next morning she gleefully told me "See, my eye is all better" as she nearly poked it again herself.  And so ended that drama.
Also on Tuesday, cousins Derek and Tyler, Aunt Kristin (Duncan's sister) and
Uncle Kevin arrived from Pennsylvania.

Calleigh was in the pool with the boys pretty much every day...much to Mommy's
delight since she was there several afternoons.

Tyler holds Brady but Brady just isn't quite too sure about that.
Yay!  We were well enough to go to church this week after a 2-week hiatus.
This is outside the entrance.  Have you noticed that Aubree really likes those
sunglasses?  Grandma has taken to calling her Paris Hilton.

Brady talks to Daddy during Sabbath School.
Last night we were over the Isidro's with the Bergherm's for food and fellowship.  I was too lazy to take any pictures but we had a great time as usual.

First of two showers today.  This was for Ashley and her
triplets.  Probably the first and last time I'll be at a shower for
triplets!

Brady just isn't quite sure what to make of Crystal.

Jennifer hosted the shower and made this awesome cupcake tree, among other
things (of course!)

Shower # 2 was at the Forest Lake Church and was for Duncan's friend/employee Ronald
and his wife Tiffany.  They are having a boy in October.  Ronald is from Vancouver and
is a big Canucks fan so I got to rub it in a little about the Bruins beating them.

Despite neither girl taking a nap this afternoon, for whatever reason (they did play
in the pool most of the morning with Daddy while I was at the first shower so go figure)
they still had plenty of energy to chase bubbles.

Listening to a story at the shower.
So, I think that about wraps it all up.  There's not to much else to report.  However, I will say that Brady has been giving us little smiles the last few days so we've been happy to see that.  Also, Dewey has been wearing the cone on his head for the last six days.  Duncan checked him this morning and said that he believes Dewey will live.  It looks like the big gaping hole in his side is closing nicely.  Phew.
