I just wanted to write a brief note to say that all is well up here in the great north country where I'm enjoying my $7 gallon of milk. Yes, that's right. A gallon of milk is $7.11. My normal routine is to down at least 4 glasses a day so I've had to reign that in a bit.
We've had really bad weather. It's rained every day and we've glimpsed the sun two times in five days for about five minutes each time. Despite that, we're still having a great time since we have much to entertain ourselves with indoors. I've played hundred of hands of Dutch Blitz and I can't wait to play again! Calleigh is having a good time although she wants to be outside all the time and that is difficult with the weather. Fortunately there have been dry spells so she is allowed out.
The menfolk and a few women (not me!) have been hard at work clearing the land to build small cottages (okay, they're really going to be "shacks" but cottages sounds so much nicer) for each of the cousins to sleep in. We've run out of room in the house - - actually, we ran out of room a LONG time ago. Anywho, most of the cottages will be completed next year so it's pretty exciting.
Alrighty then, I'll close here as I have to get back and start cooking. Today is my day. More some time later.

Can't wait to see some pictures from Nova Scotia :)
Is anything cheap in Canada?
Corey, You are going to have a new neighbor close by. We are going to live here in the house and try to make some sense to this all thing. I have some more adorable clothes for Calleigh with me. Won't have to mail them now. IN this picture she looks more like Duncan than any other picture I have ever seen. Wow!! Trusting, you are having a good time in spite of the rain, rain and more rain. Tell your father to call me from that phone there at Dick's house phone if he knows the number. Give Calleigh a big KISS for me and hope she can say Auntie Shirley when she gets back. Love, Aunt Shirley
