Four and Six Year Stats

I love Aubs' little toes!
This morning the girls had their annual physicals.  I was reminded how fortunate we've been with their good health.  They haven't been to the doctor for anything but their annual physicals since July 2011.  If only Brady could follow with that trend!

Everything went very well.  We only waited about three minutes to get called back.  The first thing the nurse did was their height and weight.  He had them take off their shoes for that.  They had to stand on these feet stickers on the scale to get weighed and the next thing I knew, there was Brady taking off his shoes and trying to get on to to the scale too.  He wants to be just like his sisters so we all played along.  I only hope he is this cooperative when he goes for his annual in a few weeks.

They actually saw the nurse practitioner this time around and she was great.  She went through all the routine stuff and then the nurse took them to have their eyes checked.  Calleigh's vision was 20/20 and 20/30 and Aubree's was 20/30 and 20/40.  Apparently it's not uncommon to not have 20/20 vision at this age and they'll just retest them next year.  They weren't concerned.

Hearing test

Aubs was a bit confused on how this all worked which they said is very normal for a 4-year old.
Here are their stats:

Calleigh - 6 Years

Height - 47 inches, 75th percentile (down from 75th - 90th)
BMI - 16.4
BP - 90/52
Shoe Size - 12.5/13
Clothes Size - 6-6X (although fitting some 7/8 stuff)

Aubree - 4 Years

Weight - 34.5 pounds, 50th percentile (up from 25th)
Height - 40 inches, 50th percentile (unchanged)
BMI - 15.2
BP - 92/58
Shoe Size - 8.5/9
Clothes Size - 4T

Nothing too exciting going on the last few days unless you count our neighbor finally mowing a patch of his lawn.  We've been a bit perturbed that our neighbor hasn't been taking care of his lawn as in mowing or watering.  It's a man in his 40's who seems like a nice enough guy (although he's from New York.  Ha!) so we don't get why he would buy a brand new house but not keep it looking nice.  It's not horrible but it's obvious it hasn't been mowed and the grass is turning brown.  Anyway, I was in the girls' room yesterday when I heard this noise.  We looked out the window and there he was with a mower, working on a patch of the lawn.  I was so excited that I took a picture and texted it to Duncan and then of course, had to explain it all to the girls.  Unfortunately it turned out to be a false alarm because he mowed one little patch for like five minutes and then stopped.  Perhaps the mower broke or ran out of gas or something.  Anyway, this evening Duncan mowed our front yard and Calleigh goes up to him while the mower is going and starts yelling above the noise, "DADDY, OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR STARTED MOWING HIS LAWN YESTERDAY."  Oh mercy.  Thank goodness he wasn't outside...that I know of.

A couple of pictures...and then good night!

Samples at Costco today.  Please note that Brady is very securely buckled in.
Isidros minus Tangie came over for pizza night tonight and Allen engaged the kids in a rousing game of Twister.
